About Me

Me in Rocky Mountain National Park during the summer of 2025

Hi, I’m Priya Dass — a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach with a Master’s in Exercise Science.

I help women in perimenopause and menopause feel strong, energized, and confident again through a whole-health approach that blends strength training, balanced nutrition, sleep, stress, and mindset.

My journey into health coaching didn’t start in a classroom — it began much earlier.

I grew up in India, fascinated by cooking and healthy eating. But years later, after moving to the U.S. and raising my two boys, my own health began to unravel.

I dealt with:

  • chronic back issues

  • several surgeries

  • high cholesterol

  • prediabetes

  • an underactive thyroid

  • sleep problems

  • stubborn weight changes

Like so many women in midlife, I felt frustrated and confused.
My body wasn’t responding the way it used to — and I didn’t understand why.

That’s what led me back to school for a Master’s in Exercise Science (specialty: Clinical Exercise Physiology), where I worked in Cardiopulmonary Rehab and Employee Wellness.

From there, I continued my education with:

  • ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist

  • ACSM Exercise is Medicine (Level 3)

  • Personal Trainer (NASM)

  • Women’s Fitness Specialist (NASM)

  • Precision Nutrition Level 1 (PN)

  • Menopause Coaching Specialist (GGS)

  • Senior Fitness Specialist

Through strength training, better nutrition, sleep, stress management, and mindset shifts, I completely transformed my health.

Today, in my 60s, I’m fitter and stronger than I was in my 30s and 40s — and I help other women rewrite their story, too.

Who I help:

I coach women over 40 who are tired of:

  • stubborn midlife weight

  • low energy

  • sleep issues

  • cravings

  • bloating

  • stress

  • feeling “not themselves”

Women who want to feel confident again — in their bodies, their careers, and their lives.

Women who are action takers, and are ready to start!

My signature ThriveHer Method focuses on:

  • strength training

  • balanced, enjoyable nutrition

  • better sleep + stress reduction

  • mindset shifts

  • simple habits that actually stick

No dieting.
No extremes.
No shame.
Just a whole-health, science-based approach that supports your midlife body — not fights it.

A little more about me:

I love photography, hiking with my family, gardening, cooking, thrift stores, and exploring new places.
My heart is happiest traveling with my husband and boys — and I lose myself in nature with my camera any chance I get.

If you’re ready to feel strong, confident, and in control of your health again, I’d love to support you.
